Daniel Veillard have been working on linux and open source software for two decades, most notably by creating and maintaining the projects libxml2 libxslt and libvirt and as a long time employee of Red Hat. He also created and used to run the rpmfind.net service, to help the management of Linux systems. He is now manager for standards, and also leading a team working on open source communities as part of the Open Source and Standards group at Red Hat.
