Autotest is an open-source project, which provides a framework for fully
automated testing. It is designed primarily to test the Linux kernel, though
it is useful for many other functions such as verifying new hardware and
testing virtualization under Linux platforms. It is composed of a framework
and several testsuites that rely on the core libraries in the framework.
Virt-test is one of the testsuites which is used for testing different Linux
virtualization hypervisors. As Cloud Computing becomes more and more popular
in the world, virtualization, the base of it, is also important increasingly.
So in order to keep the virtualization infrastructure function and stable,
we need a way to test virtualization functions automatically and rapidly,
and virt-test is on this purpose. In this presentation, Yu Mingfei will introduce
this effective and convenient testsuite to you.
